LEON VAN DE PAS
Leon leads the Internet of Things business group at HERE. A trained electrical engineer and economist, Leon is leading the development of a broad range of location platform services for cities, government, enterprises and technology companies.
Leon’s business experience spans several roles with international sales and business responsibilities in both emerging and established companies. He has a track record in bringing disruptive innovations to market and creating winning teams. His background spans medical, wireless, navigation, lighting and IoT services, and he has held leadership roles at Philips, Tele Atlas, and start-ups in the fields of mobile gaming and navigation.
Leon joined HERE in 2014 and has led the Internet of Things business group – which combines the company’s former Consumer and Enterprise divisions – since summer 2016. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from The Hague University, is a Dutch national, is married and has five children.
