10-14 October 2016 | MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA

Demonstrations Location

The majority of demonstrations, whether static or mobile, will be held off-site at nearby Albert Park Lake, the home of the F1 Grand Prix Melbourne – approximately 4.3 km (2.7 miles) from the congress venue. A return bus service will bring delegates to and from the demonstration venue for the duration of the congress.

There are several environments proposed to accommodate demonstrations:

  • Static indoors or outdoors
  • Mobile indoors or outdoors “boundary defined area”
  • Mobile outdoors test track (720m on reserved road, each way)
  • Mobile outdoors open road (circuit: 5km / 3 miles) (subject to regulatory approval)

At the demonstration site, demonstrators will have access to undercover and/or indoor areas to provide for:

  • Registration
  • Meet and Greet
  • Demo Pre-Briefing
  • Demo presentation areas
  • Opportunity for demo branding, position own pull-up banners, own tents and other facilities for display of hand-out material
  • Secured lock-up storage facilities
